Halsey Middle School is proud to announce we are starting the Halsey Robotics Team again. Ms. Cala and Mr. Lober are co-coaching the program to prepare students to build and program a robot that will compete against other middle schools and high schools across the city. This is not a club, it is a team, which requires a tryout and a truly dedicated person to compete and support their fellow teammates. Any student, regardless of grade or talent, may try out, but it is a minimum 2 year commitment to the team for 6th and 7th graders. All information regarding the team itself, tryouts, and team meeting dates and time will be explained during the robotics team orientation on Monday, January 8th, 2024 at 2:30 PM in room 333. If you are unable to make the orientation and are still interested in trying out for the team, please email Mr. Lober (ALober@schools.nyc.gov) or Ms. Cala (GCala4@schools.nyc.gov) for further directions.
