Queens High School for the Sciences at York College, a specialized high school in Queens. We are currently ranked #3 for best high schools in New York City & New York State according to US News & World Report, as well as #29 nationwide.
As the only specialized high school in the borough of Queens we are proud to represent the diversity of our county. We have an advanced & rigorous program, which includes many Advanced Placement (AP) and dual college credit courses that prepare our students to gain acceptance into some of our nation’s best colleges & universities. Many of our students earn at least 30 college credits from CUNY.
We celebrate many other achievements as well. We have a 100% graduation rate and 97.5 % of our graduates earn an Advanced Regents Diploma, and of that 65% earn an ARD with Honors designation. In addition, we also have many student wellness, college, and community building events throughout the year to support the whole child.
