What would you be doing if you were not a teacher?
If I wasn’t a teacher, I would probably be an architect.
Why did you get into education?
My fourth-grade teacher was an outstanding teacher and I wanted to be just like her. She said she wanted to be a teacher ever since she was in fourth grade, so fourth-grade me thought the same! By 6th grade, I started loving mathematics and knew if I was going to be a teacher, I would be a math teacher.
What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?
Favorite thing about being a teacher is being able to share my love of mathematics, being able to help others learn and grow, and being able to come to school every day to be surrounded by so much fun energy and ideas.
Any hobbies or interests that we do not know you would like to share?
I really enjoy hiking, playing volleyball, and cooking.
