In order to give our students taking the Regents optimal conditions when taking the exam, all 6th, 7th, and non-testing 8th and 9th graders will not report to school on the days of our Regents:
- Wednesday, June 14th (Living Environments Regents, taken by Classes 821-826 and 901)
- Thursday, June 15th (Algebra I Regents, taken by Classes 807, 808, 821-826, and 901)
On these days, non-testing students will receive asynchronous tasks to be completed at their own pace during the course of the day. Students can find their assignments posted in their subject-area Google Classrooms by 9:00 AM. They will have the entirety of the day to complete posted assignments.
Attendance will be recorded via a Google Form available to all students either directly on our website or on any of their class’s Google Classrooms. In order to be logged as present, students will need to be logged into their nycstudents accounts.
These days will not count as days of our 6-day cycle. The 6-day cycle will resume each day students return from asynchronous learning at home.
