I hope this email finds you well and you are enjoying your summer vacation. Tuesday, Mayor De Blasio announced that schools will be opening REMOTELY for all students on Wednesday, September 16. In-person learning will begin for students in cohort A (Day 1) on Monday, September 21.
Students and parents/guardians will receive a calendar highlighting the days your cohort will be in school for in-person learning for the month of September.
During this week and next, students and parents/guardians will receive several email updates from me with information on what students will need to do from home to prepare for the first day of remote learning (Sept 16) and for your first day of in-person learning.
For today, I would like for you to complete our student survey found in the link below. The survey has questions about in-person and remote learning/devices. You will also see questions asking how you feel about returning to school. In order for our students to complete the survey you must log into your nycstudents.net account. If you have not activated your nycstudent.net account already, Click here. Also, when you go to login you will get a DOE login screen, the username is just the first part of the email address without the nycstudents.net.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you in the upcoming weeks.
