How do we apply for High School?
- All families will be using myschools.nyc for the high school application process.
- This includes registering for the SHSAT exam as well as completing your high school application.
- Most families should have a myschools account from completing the 5th grade application for middle school.
How do we apply for High School?
- All families will receive a “Welcome Letter” with step-by-step instructions on how to create your account by the end of this school week. The Office of Enrollment will be mailing the “Welcome Letters Home”. I will be emailing both the parents and students their “Welcome Letters” once the DOE releases them to the schools.
- Families should be able to log in to their myschools account using the email address they signed up with and password.
- If you do not remember which email address you used to register or having difficulty logging in there is an “I FORGOT MY PASSWORD” feature at the bottom of the login page to reset passwords.
- As of October 3rd, you may register your child for the SHSAT (Specialized High School Exam).
- As of October 3rd, the main high school application should be opened.
