Our 1st Annual Halsey Hackathon was a huge success. There were over 40 students that participated. The objective was to identify a community problem and research data regarding the issue on NYC’s 311 database. Students would then create a prototype/game to address the issue. Our winning teams are as follows:
3rd Place: “The Hack Pack” – Game: Unknown Crimes: Drug Abuse – Team Members: Abhijith Pai, Fawaz Shabir, Gryphon Lee, and Toto Jon Burke.
2nd Place: “Technical Titals” – Game: Drive Dro – Team members: Eilon Bober, Andrew Kogan
1st Place: “ASES Technologies” – Game: ASES Water Heater – Team Members: Shaurya Sen, Aditya Phophaliya, Stephan Menasche,and Emile Romero
Our 1st Place Team will compete Queens Boroughwide in the CS4ALL Hack League Competition to be held on
