On Thursday, September 21, 2023, JHS 157 will host our first virtual parent teacher meeting, “Back to School Curriculum Night” from 4:30pm-7:30pm. The evening will begin with a grade meeting where parents will be able to meet their child’s grade team, the Assistant Principal, Dean, and Guidance Counselor. After the grade meeting parents will have the opportunity to attend a virtual meeting for each grade and subject area. At each meeting, parents will be introduced to their child’s teachers, learn about the curriculum, instruction, assessments, and the grading policy for each of the subject areas. To attend your child’s grade and subject area meetings, you will need to visit our school website, find your child’s grade and click on each link to each subject area meeting. We encourage all of our families to attend as this informative evening will provide parents with an understanding of their children’s school day at JHS 157.
