As part of Halsey's recognition of Women's History Month, each grade will have a 60-minute assembly with Calliope, a NYC-based brass ensemble that increases the visibility of women brass musicians as both artists and teachers through excellence in artistry and innovation in performance. Calliope's members are active freelance musicians in New York City playing on Broadway, in major symphony orchestras, television shows, and mainstage acts.
