On Thursday afternoon, June 22nd, Halsey will host its 6th grade Afternoon Fun Fest from 3:00-5:00 PM. Intended to continue to build community among our Class of 2025, the event will include volleyball and basketball in our gyms, games in the cafeteria, and music throughout all three rooms.
Tickets will be $5.00 and sold during lunch periods leading up to the event. A small snack will be provided.
We would like to continue increasing the variety and amount of board games we have available. If you have any board games that you wish to donate, we would greatly appreciate them. While we cannot return them, we do plan to utilize donated games in future similar Halsey events, including one for the Class of 2025 when they are in 7th grade. If you have something to donate, please send it with your child as soon as possible, but ideally on or before Friday June 16th. Your child can bring your donation to Room 325 to give to either Ms. Gonzalez or Ms. Kartasis. Again, do not send your child in with anything that you wish to have returned.
